· Explore landmarks via a walking tour or visit Harvard Street for some local shopping and dining.

Easy parking options and seasonal brews at Distraction Brewing Company

Visiting Distraction Brewing is easy with ample parking options across the street from our local brewery. These include the following:

1. Adjacent to Roslindale Medical Center is a municipal lot with ample parking as well as weekend parking. The municipal lot is only a minute walk from our brewery!
2. The MBTA Commuter Rail lot is also available for patrons that need to find additional parking if other lots are full or street parking is limited. Even if you’re not taking the MBTA you can still park there for a few hours as prices are only $2 for weekdays and $4 for the weekend.
3. Parking is also available for free across the street from St. Necatarios Greek Orthodox Church. This has less spots than the other two options, but is usually available throughout the week.
4. Cohasset Street also has parking spaces behind the old Bank of America building/thrift shop as well.

Take a biking tour or get some fresh air at Larz Anderson Park
Brookline is extremely bike-friendly and makes it easy to get to many restaurants, shops, and other locations. A biking tour of Brookline is a great way to see many of the vibrant areas of town while also getting some fresh air and exercise. Many of the dedicated bike lanes and the Blue Bikes bikeshare program make it simple and safe for a biking trip.
For more outdoor recreation, Larz Anderson Park on Goddard Ave and Newton St. has many walking/hiking paths, outdoor picnic areas, playgrounds for young children, and gardens to visit. There is even an ice-skating rink open during the winter for the general public to enjoy the wintertime.
